Briggs, Galvin Homer

On Tuesday, September 18th, 2007, Mr. Galvin Homer Briggs, loving husband of the late Rose Marie Briggs; son of the late Laura and Adam Briggs; step-father of the late Rose Franklin and Jean Battaglia; brother and sister-in-law to Russell and Theresa "Mickie" Briggs; brother to the late Joseph (Louis), Arthur, Roger, and Karl; Uncle to Patricia and John Dubis; grandfather to nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren; great uncle to one grand niece, two grand nephews and three great-grand nieces; his caregivers Donald and Sharon Monroe. A special thank you to the Staff of Mayfield House.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 21st, 2007 from 12-2:00 PM in HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, where Graveside Services will be held at 2:45 PM in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Sykesville, Maryland.
