Obituary

Frank Eppig, 95, passed away on June 16, 2017. He was the loving husband of the late Eleanor C. (Stromberg) Eppig to whom he was married for 57 years. Mr. Eppig was born in Baltimore on February 25, 1922, to the late Frank and Emma (Miller) Eppig. He attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, served in the U.S. Army during WWII, had a long and successful career at Amoco Oil, and served as a Grand Commander in the Order of the Alhambra. Mr. Eppig had a deep faith and love of family and enjoyed travel and golf. He is survived by his children Lois Testerman, Eileen Eppig, S.S.N.D., Frank Eppig, Jr. (Barbara) and Margaret Rhodes (Michael), his brother Milliard Eppig, grandchildren Theresa Brown, Maria Eppig, Peter Eppig, and Kate Brookman, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Eppig and his grandson Brian Bibo. Friends may call at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc., 4107 Wilkens Avenue on Friday, June 23 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown, 715 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville on Saturday, June 24, at 10 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service.
