On Friday, April 26, 2019, Frank Sarchiapone passed away at Gilchrist Hospice surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Baltimore in 1923 to the late Alfredo and Rosalinda Sarchiapone, Frank worked for many years as a Relief Man for General Motors.He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty (nee: Hudson) Sarchiapone in 2003.Frank enjoyed horse racing, watching football, playing the card game pitch and was a grocery shopping enthusiast.Most of all, he was a loving father to his 10 children; the late Frank Sarchiapone and his wife Cathy, Sharon Sarchiapone, the late Alfred Sarchiapone, CatherineBosley snd her husband Bob, Rose Abbott and her husband Ted, Vincent Sarchiapone, Anthony Sarchiapone, Dominic Sarchiapone and his wife Kelly, Joseph Sarchiapone and Angela Sarchiapone; his brother, Albert Sarchiapone and his wife Theresa as well as nieces Rosalie and Jean.He was also survived by 16 grandchildren 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229 where his funeral service will be on Monday at 10AM.Interment will follow at New Cathedral Cemetery, Baltimore.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice, 11311 McCormick Rd., Ste. 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
