Obituary

MERYL BAKER (NEÉ BUTTERBAUGH) age 94 died peacefully at her daughter's home in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, June 30, 2013. She was the eldest daughter of Franklin E. & Marie Butterbaugh and had been a long-time resident of Catonsville. She is predeceased by her husband, Clyde H. Baker and a sister Elizabeth Horsey. Meryl was employed at The Rolling Road School and later at the Canfield School from 1960 until she retired. Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl Mundroff (Charles) of Ellicott City; Charlene Van Hoy (Peter) of Birmingham AL; and Carol O'Neil (Allen) of Wake Forest ,NC; beloved grandchildren, Andrew Mundroff (Lili) of Catonsville; Daniel Mundroff of Ellicott City; Julie Van Hoy of Birmingham, AL; David Van Hoy of Atlanta, GA; Stephen O'Neil of Orlando, FL; and Hillary O'Neil currently of Towson, MD; five great grandchildren and three loving siblings, Thomas Butterbaugh, Franklin Butterbaugh (Frances), and Ethel Darragh (William). Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 on Sunday, June 7th at Hubbard's Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Avenue.  A service of Christian burial will be held at The Charlestown Chapel officiated by Rev. Gary Hajek on Monday, June 8th at 11 o'clock followed by a service to commit her mortal remains to the LORD at The National Cemetery in Catonsville.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
