On February 9, 2012, Elva C. M. (nee Hillegas) Herd, beloved wife of the late Paul Raymond Herd, Jr., devoted daughter of the late Elva (nee Beeman) and Ralph Hillegas, loving mother of Paul D., Frederick, Vernon, David, Catherine, Edward, Timothy and Joseph Herd, also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 12:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, Maryland 21032.
