Ellwood P. (Ell) Curcio, 90, of Ocean View, DE, and formerly of E. Linthicum, MD, passed away on Sunday May 22nd, 2022 at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE, surrounded by family. He was born August 11th, 1931, in Baltimore to the late James and Louise (nee Wolfe) Curcio. He is predeceased by the love of his life: his wife Dolores; step-daughter Shirley Morgan, grandsons Daniel and Scott Dressel;and great-grandson Shane Dressel. He is survived by his step-daughter Tish Slaughter, granddaughter Roxann Dressel, grandson Jacque (Katherine) Morgan, 4 great-granddaughters: Kateri Silveira, Victoria (Dan) Barbour, Rebecca (Tim) Huggins, Rhiannon (Aldon) Milhon; 2 great-grandsons: Dustin (Kayla) Dressel and Chase Morgan and 6 great-great grandchildren and grandaughter in law Sharlote. Loved and well-liked by many, Ell worked many years in his successful roofing business. A generous soul, he loved boating, fishing, traveling, sports, and watching horse races. Accomplished bowler. Loved to spoil children, especially his grandkids.Visitation will be held on Thursday May 26th, 2022 at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc. 4107 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral service will take place also at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday May 27th, 2022 at 1pm. Interment will immediately follow the service at Loudon Park Cemetery.
