Tribute

Elizabeth Leona York, age 76, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2020.  She will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit and beautiful smile.

Born on February 24, 1944, Liz, as she was known, was the daughter of Charles and Elaine Distefano. She grew up in Baltimore, MD where she lived until she died. She had 5 children; Denise Hartlove, Kimberly Beyer, Jeffrey Gill, Christopher Mount and Roberta Wortman, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly.

Fall was Liz's favorite season, because of all the vibrant colors. She also loved the smell real Christmas trees and the beauty of falling snow. But most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020, from noon to 3 :00 PM at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc. 4107 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD.
