Mrs. Elizabeth Helen Hanixman, 90, died on January 18, 2015 at the home of her son, Wayne Hanixman. She was the daughter of the late William and Reiva Harvey. She was born on July 26, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was married to Vernon M. Hanixman on September 20, 1941 for 58 years. She was employed at Hochschild Kohn's Company and the Hecht Company. She is survived by her two children, Wayne Hanixman and his wife, Gloria of Finksburg, MD and E. Reiva Robinson and her husband, Kim of Essex, MD; grandmother of Scott Hanixman and his wife, Deana, Tim Blucher, and Kalyn Hanixman; great grandmother of Codi and Cami Hanixman, and Haily Blucher; sister of Reiva Gauger; and sister in law of Gilbert Murphy and his wife, Nancy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon M. Hanixman and her brother, William Harvey, Jr.
Mrs. Hanixman rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 where friends are invited to call on Wednesday,January 21st, 2015 from 2–4 and 7-9pm. Her funeral service will be on Thursday at 11am. Intermentwill follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
