Eleanor Victoria Bogner passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, at the age of 100. Born on October 8, 1924, she was the daughter of E. David and E. Victoria Johnson. Eleanor was born at home on the family farm southwest of Loda, Illinois. She graduated from Holmes School, Loda Township High School, and the Barry Castle Business School in Champaign, Illinois. She worked in clerical positions in Champaign Urbana.

She married Neil Bogner on November 25, 1954, who preceded her in death in September 2015. Eleanor is survived by two of her three sons, Douglas (Kathy) of Catonsville, MD, and Paul of Hollywood, MD; her two granddaughters, Emma and Sarah, also of Catonsville; her sister-in-law Judy Bogner, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to Neil, she was preceded in death by her youngest son, Carl, who died in December 2024, her parents, and her siblings Wesley, Carolyn, Marion, Robert, Elaine, and Phyllis.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, August 8, at her parish, Lady of the Angels on the Charlestown Retirement Community at 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228. A reception will follow.
