Obituary

On May, 12, 2017, Edward A. Volatile peacefully passed away. He was very active with his church, St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church and was a proud member of its Knights of Columbus chapter. Edward was a huge Civil War buff. He studied so much about it that he often knew more that the guides from the tours he took of many historical landmarks. Edward�s greatest love was his family. On weekends, he would take each of his nieces and nephews individually to go do something special. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Pearl Volatile. Surviving Edward are his siblings, Christopher and Bonnie Volatile, Robert and Carolyn Volatile, Sr., Donald and Kim Volatile, and Regina and Lawrence Lovelace; nine nieces and nephews; and eleven great nieces and nephews.Edward rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at his beloved St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, 227 South Exeter Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10am. His interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery.
