Edward W. Herd, age 50, passed away at his home on May 10th, 2021. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul R. Herd and Elva Herd; survived by his beloved sons, Joseph D. Herd and Jacob D. Herd (Natasha), his sons' mother, Tammy Herd; his 8 loving brothers, Paul D. Herd (Claudia), Frederick R. Herd, Vernon R. Herd (Janet), David V. Herd, Sr., Timothy A. Herd, (Shannon), Joseph A. Herd (Susan), Raymond Herd, and Raymond Heard, 3 dear sisters, Catherine G. Herd (Paul), Phyllis Herd, and Ann Herd-Ebberts (Frank). Edward is also survived by a host of beloved nieces and nephews: Blake Herd, Brandon Herd, Travis Heard. David Herd, Jr., Joshua Weigman (Brooke), Tambra Weigman-Frei (Justin), Destiny Herd, Jessica Herd, Amber Herd, Stephanie Herd, Cheyenne Herd, Cheyenne Trent, Ciera Her-Cayer (Zach), Christina Herd-Donney (Zachary)
Edward was a proud Army Veteran, devoted father, and a longtime biker enthusiast. He worked for the state of Maryland as a correctional officer for 20 years. His charismatic sense of humor and love for his friends and family will forever be his legacy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 18th from 3-5pm & 6-8pm at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc. 4107 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229. The Funeral will take place on Wednesday at 11am, May 19th, 2021, also at Hubbard. Interment will immediately follow the service at Maryland Crownsville Veterans Cemetery 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd. Crownsville, MD 21032.
