Edward Marshall Hanson died on October 23, 2022, at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD at the age of 97. He is survived by his loving son, Edward M. Hanson, Jr. of Durham, NC; his granddaughter, Sara L. Ballard, and his great grandson, Grayson B. Ballard-both of Boulder, CO; and his brother Donald G. Hanson of Baltimore, MD.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Louise Neilson Hanson, and his son, J. Douglas Hanson, formerly of Westmoreland, NH.
