Hughes, Edna M.

On January 7, 2008, at the age of 105, Edna M. Hughes (nee Rice), devoted wife of the late Arthur J. Hughes, Sr., beloved mother of the late CDR Arthur J. Hughes, USN, dear mother-in-law of Lois M. Hughes, loving grandmother of Diane G. Ivan and Joan P. Herbold.  Mrs. Hughes is also survived by her 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel (Charlestown) on Friday, January 11th, 10:30-11:00 am followed by a funeral mass.  Interment New Cathedral Cemetery.
