On December 11, 2011, Edmund C. Hommerbocker, age 74, of Baltimore, Maryland, born June 20, 1937, in Baltimore. He is the son of the late Howard and Mabel (nee Morrissette) Hommerbocker. He is survived by son Steven Hommerbocker and daughters Judy Collins and Karen Hommerbocker, his sister Doris Lerch of Baltimore, Maryland, brother Robert Hommerbocker, Sr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia and granddaughter April Collins. He is predeceased by brothers Howard, Preston and Kenneth Hommerbocker and sister Grace Phelps. Edmund was employed for over 20 years by Woodlawn Motor Coach of Baltimore. He was a long time member of Shelbourne Baptist Church. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Shelbourne Baptist Church, 4808 Shelbourne Road, Arbutus, Maryland 21227, with Pastor Daniel Taylor officiating. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, Maryland 21784. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shelbourne Baptist Church.
