Tribute
On March 28, 2018, Duane Eric Roos, Sr. unexpectedly passed away. He began his life in Baltimore, the beloved son of the late John and Catherine Roos. He grew up and joined the Carpenters Local 491. It was here that he grew an appreciation for all aspects of the Union. When he had free time, he could be found rooting for his Ravens, playing the slot machines at any of the casinos, or looking for that lucky lotto ticket. His family will especially miss hearing him cheer on his son at his softball games, eating crabs together, or watching him play with his grandchildren. His legacy lives on through his children, Duane Eric Roos, Jr. and his wife, Jessica, and Lauralee Roos and her boyfriend, Matthew Kuykendall; his grandchildren, Mason Kuhl and Sierra Kuykendall; his brothers, Albert "Jack" Arrington and his wife, Brenda, and Wallace "Bubs" Roos; his sister in law, Pam Roos; his uncle, Terry Maben and his wife, Carrol; his aunt, Karen Maben; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was also preceded in heaven by his brothers, Dennis and Steven Roos; uncle, Wallace Maben; and his aunt Patricia McLaughlin.
