On Friday, September 7, 2012, Donald E. Einolf, Sr. passed away with his loving family at his side. Born on February 3, 1927 to the late Otto and Wilhelmina Einolf, he was a proud WWII and Korea Navy Veteran who honorable continued his service as Captain of the Baltimore City Police Department for 26 years. Don is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret "Peggy" Einolf ; son, Donald (Lois) Einolf, Jr.; grandsons, Donald (Kelly) Einolf, III and Scott (Hollie) Einolf; great grandsons, Brent, Jacob, and Zachary Einolf; sisters, Helen Addicks, Betty (Robert) Ridgel, and Joan Hough; sister in law, Dorothy Einolf. He was predeceased by his brother Charles Einolf and his brother-in-law, William Addicks.
Donald rests at the Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD where friends and family are invited to call on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00am with burial in Meadowridge Memorial Park. Flowers will be graciously accepted but donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Maryland, 1850 York Road Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
