On February 28, 2009, Dolores L. (nee Cook) Schafer, loving wife of John R. Schafer, beloved mother of Jann A. Weaver and his wife Grace, Melanie Weeks and her husband Billy and Michelle Slowe, devoted grandmother of Jeffrey Weaver and his wife Carrie, Ashley Weaver, Nathanial Schafer, Benjamin and Joshua Slowe, admired great-grandmother of Kirby and Jaxon Weaver.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
