Christopher Lane Muir, son of Rosemary and Robert Muir, passed away on October 12, 2015 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was born on April 10, 1979 in New Haven, Connecticut and lived in Boston, Massachusetts and Irvine, California before moving with his family to Maryland in 1991. He graduated from Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, MD in 1997 where he played soccer and lacrosse. He later attended Bridgton Academy in Maine and Lynchburg College in Virginia. For many years he was a successful and skilled construction estimator. Christopher was kind and gentle, with a generous spirit and a wry sense of humor. He was well-liked by everyone he met and was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his parents, Christopher leaves his sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Nestor Gavidia, his nephew, Christian Gavidia, his grandmother, Margaret Muir, two aunts, Margaret McQueen (David) and Katherine Whidden (Brian Hickey), and many cousins.

His family will receive guests on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00am-11:45am at Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 1:00pm at Saint Ignatius Church, 740 N Calvert St, Baltimore, MD 21202, with a luncheon to follow. Interment will be held privately.
