Charles Herrera passed away peacefully on September 14, 2022. He is the devoted father of Lois Espey (Boog), Joseph Herrera (Linda), Chris Herrera (Vi), Jennifer Wendler (Bob), Roberto de Leon (Emily) and Claudia de Leon (Jimmy). Loving grandfather of Joshua and Eric, Steven, Brandon, Zachary, and Jordan, Kimberly and Kylan, Charles and Zoe, Samuel and Leonardo, Jacob and Noah, dear brother of Lonnie Herrera, Herb Myers and Richard Myers, dear boyfriend of Carol Steirer and dear friend of Chepe. Also survived by many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Charlie lived a full life and added value wherever he went making an impact on everyone far and wide.  He was a cowboy, a sailor, a butcher, a baker and a tailor among other things.  He sailed around the world three times and spoke many languages.  He was a proud Vietnam veteran serving in the Navy from 1965-1969. He was a hard worker with a huge heart.  Charlie was a mentor and friend to all he met.
