Obituary

On May 16, 2022, Charles C.C. Riggin, Sr. went Home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Riggin (nee Sheckells). He is also survived by his son, Michael P. Riggin, Sr. (Lisa) of San Antonio, TX; his daughters, Kathleen and Joanna Riggin of Hanover, MD; his sister, Elizabeth Sullivan (Walt) of Virginia Beach, 7 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Charles C.C. Riggin, Jr.; his parents, Robert Sr. & Amanda Riggin; his brother, Robert Riggin, Jr. and his sister, Margaret Pittas.

Charles will be remembered for his many artistic hobbies that he loved to share with others -- woodworking, painting and pen-making to name a few. He also was known for his love of baking -- cinnamon rolls for the office, pancakes at the office, pizza and doughnut parties. At home, Charles could always be found with at least one dog on his lap or at his feet. He loved dogs and they loved him. Charles loved to laugh and make jokes. More importantly, Charles will be remembered for his love of God, his country and his family as he served those in his life. Charles will be greatly missed by all that were blessed enough to know him.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. And all are invited to attend the Funeral service on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10 AM. By family request the interment to follow is private.
