Charles A. Wobbeking, age 95, passed away peacefully in his home on May 18, 2015.He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Helen Jane (nee Glick) Wobbeking; father of Charles A. Wobbeking, Jr. and his wife, Sally, Mary Berlin and her husband, Thomas, Robert J. Wobbeking, Theresa Cofsky and her husband, Darrell, Helen Stinnett and her husband, Darryl , and John W. Wobbeking and his wife, Christine; grandfather of thirteen; and great grandfather of eight. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Spurling and her husband, Donald, his brother, Norman Wobbeking, and his great grandson, Adam Berlin.
Mr. Wobbeking rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229 where his family will receive guests on Friday, May 29th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at his long standing parish, Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4416 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 on Saturday at 10am. Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Park. Flowers will be graciously accepted but donations in his name are preferred to Our Lady of Victory Building Fund, 4416 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 or School Sisters of Notre Dame, 6401 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21212.
