NAYLOR, Cecil Anthony (age 90) formerly of Silver Spring, Maryland, died on August 23, 2017. Born on April 10, 1927 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Son of Cecil George Naylor and Josephine Agnes Naylor (n�e Dean). Predeceased by only sibling Dudley Ignatius Naylor. He immigrated to the United States of America (Miami, Florida) with his family in 1977. Prior to emigrating, he was associated with John Crook Limited/Cars and Commercials Limited, in Kingston, Jamaica for thirty-two years. He also worked with the Tropical Cinema Company in Jamaica. While in Miami, he was employed at Banner Delta Tire for over nine years. He subsequently relocated to Kissimmee, Florida, with his wife in 1989. In Kissimmee, he was employed at Walt Disney World for ten years and retired in April 1999. In June of 2010, he and his wife moved to Silver Spring, Maryland. He was an incredibly knowledgeable jazz enthusiast and Frank Sinatra fanatic. He loved watching boxing and soccer (especially his favorite team Manchester United). He thoroughly enjoyed gardening, and he always maintained and took pride in having the most immaculate lawn in the neighborhood. He enjoyed telling stories about the past and debating current events with anyone and everyone. He was a loyal and devoted husband and father, and a man committed to his faith and justice. Survivors�include his beloved wife of almost 61 years Fay (n�e Hornett), son Stuart (Lorraine) in Honolulu, Hawaii, daughter Kathryn (Jidi) in Mount Rainier, Maryland, daughter Celia in New York City, grand-daughters Ayanbi and Laurie �Lolo�, nephews Dimitri (Michelle), Jeffrey and Damian, grand-nephew Sascha, sister-in-law Barbara Naylor and brother-in-law Trevor Hornett, and many other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. (with a visitation period from 2:00-3:30 p.m.) at the Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229.
