Catherine Wellein Catherine Genevieve Wellein (Eichelman), 82, resident of Linthicum, Maryland for 49 years, died on December 2, 2010 of complications from Cardiac Arrest. She was born on December 5, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was an active member of St. James The Less Church in Baltimore where she was a member of the theatrical group, The St. James Players. She later became a member of St. Clement Parish in Lansdowne, Maryland. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality and the Family Rosary Group at St. Clement Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clement F. Wellein of 58 years; by her parents, Edward and Christine Eichelman; four brothers John, Edward, Joseph and William Eichelman and two sisters Mary Winter and Dorothy Schaefer. She is survived by four sons, William F., Richard L., John M. and David J. Wellein, two daughters, Jean D. Somers and Christine A. Truitt; one brother Martin Eichelman; two sisters Elizabeth Winter and Rita Streb; cherished grandmother to 19 grandchildren, one great grandson and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will honor her life at the Hubbard Funeral Home, lnc. 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday, December 4, 2010 and Sunday, December 5, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne, on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10 a.m. lnterment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, Maryland.
