Tribute
On October 7, 2018, Carol Alice Martin, went to be with her Lord. She was the beloved wife of the late Craig E. Martin; loving mother of Lucinda Hermes and her husband, David, Carol Lee Taylor, and Anne Denford and her late husband, Bill; cherished grandmother of fourteen and great grandmother of five; beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Besse Meisenhelder and beloved sister of the late Ralph Meisenhelder.  Carol was raised in York, PA and attended Bard Avon School for secretarial studies in Baltimore where she decided to stay and call home since 1950.  In 1954, she married her first husband, Harry Warren Lowe, who preceded her in death.  They had three children together.  Carol worked as a secretary at an insurance company, Baltimore's Mayor Station, and CSX Railroad, from where she retired in 1992. After retirement, she studied at Baltimore School of Massage and practiced massage therapy.  She was an avid Baltimore Oriole and Ravens fan.  She will be missed by family and friends.  A memorial service will be held at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229. Her family will receive guests on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm with her memorial service beginning at 2:30 pm. Interment following at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be graciously accepted but donations may be also be directed in her memory to Brigance Brigade Foundation.
