On November 1st, 2021, Brett Michael Hughes, age 40, passed away peacefully into the Lord's arms. He was the beloved son of Barbara Hughes (Nee Dowling) and the Late John Hughes, Jr. Brett is survived by his beloved sister, Erin Hughes; his loving God parents, Janet Dowling and Matthew Dowling (Jeannette); his dear cousins, Jacob Dowling (Laiken), Zachary Dowling, Emily Dowling, and Ed Hodges, Jr. Also survived by many other cherished family members and close friends. Brett brought a legacy of laughter and love into everyone's lives. His humble nature and kind soul will be remembered by all who knew him. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 9th, 2021, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 4107 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday November 10th, 2021, 10am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 4414 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD 21229.
Interment will immediately follow Mass at New Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate towards a children's hospital of your choice.
