On Thursday, September 2nd, 2010, Blanche E. Pettie (nee Granger), age 82 years, daughter of Edward and Martha J. Granger; beloved wife of the late Alvin Pettie; loving mother of the late Margaret Everline Merkel and her husband Bruce, Martha Jeanne Boyce and her husband Garry, Jessica Gunnelli and her husband Eddie, Joseph Sadler and his wife Deborah, the late Annette Theresa Klein, Lynnette Matsinger, and Erma Lapinski and her husband Joe; cherished sister of the John Granger of Jacksonville, Fl., the late Howard Granger, the late Robert Granger, Janet King of Lansdowne, MD., Barbara Green of Hyndman, PA., and Patricia Lough of Lansdowne, MD; adored grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Monday, September 6, 2010 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM in HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Private Cremation will follow at a later date.
