On March 17, 2016, Betty J. Pristoop passed away with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard D. Pristoop, her daughter, Roslyn J. Maxwell, granddaughter Ginger, and her parents, Edith Mae (nee Tarr) and William Ashby Higgs. She is survived by her children, Virginia M. Debow and her husband, Edward; Diana Boening and her husband, Michael; and Steven D. Prestoop. Cherished grandmother of Robin Maraugha,Tina Dixon, and Wesley Wales. Great grandmother to Joshua, Ashley, and Devin. Great great grandmother to Caileigh and Leigha. A vibrant spirit who gave much of her time to the Arbutus Senior Center, Betty also loved crafting, gardening, shopping, playing her Piano and Organ, and spending time with her grandcat, Purr-snic-kitty.
Mrs. Pristoop rests at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Her funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10am followed by interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
