On September 10, 2010, Bertha A. (nee Fisher) Elton, beloved wife of the late Wilbur J. B. Ray and C. William Elton, also predeceased bybrothers John, Albert, Clifton, sisters, Etta Schmidt and Esther Rossi and great-grandson Ian Scott McAlister. Survived by Her daughters Beverly Johnson and her husband Marshall of Greensboro, NC, Maureen (Willie) DiLaura and her husband John of Centreville, MD, four grandchildren Toni McDonald and her husband Glae of Tega Cay, SC, R. Lawrence McAlister, Jr. and his wife Lorie of Liberty Township, Ohio, Maureen Stockman and her husband Frank of Cordova, MD and Karen Baumeister and her husband Chris of Jarrettsville, MD, 5 great-grandchildren Anne, John and Ryan McAlister, David and Josie Stockman, sister Ruth Long and her husband Gene of Catonsville, MD.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Charlestown Retirement Community, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228. Interment service private. Memorial donations in Bertha's memory may be made to the Charlestown Benevolent Care Fund at the above address.
