Barbara Louise Bennett, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away at the home of her daughter on December 25th 2021. Born on December 17th 1946 to Henry and Catherine Ostovitz of Baltimore, MD and older sister to James Ostovitz, Having started her career with C & P Telephone Company during work study in high school, and have retired with the same company after 39 years, showed her unwavering dedication not only in her profession, but in her personal life as well. Barbara was never one to shy away from giving whatever she could to those in need.. she was an annual contributor to several charities and would provide food and shelter, or even words of encouragement to those in need. An avid baseball fan, Barbara would attend as many Oriole games as she could and was a season ticket holder to the Bowie Baysox. Her giving nature inspired countless people to try to give more of themselves in the service of others. She is preceded in death by her late husband Orlando "Doc" Bennett, father Henry Ostovitz, mother Catherine Ostovitz, and brother James Ostovitz. She is survived by her daughter Denise Connors, son Brian Rent, son-in-law Raymond Connors, grandchildren Jenna Connors and Garrett Rent, great grandchildren Riley Medley and Antonio Medley, and countless friends and extended family
