Arthur G. Maben, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 82.

Born on August 31, 1943, Arthur lived a life defined by hard work, deep faith, and a love for his family. He shared 65 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carol Fisher Maben, whom he married in 1961. Together, they built a life rooted in love, dedication, and unwavering support for one another.

Arthur was a proud business owner, establishing his own drywall contracting company in 1989. Through years of dedication and perseverance, he built a respected business, eventually passing it on to his son, continuing a legacy of hard work and family pride.

A man of strong Christian faith, Arthur loved the Lord and lived his life guided by his beliefs. He found great joy in the outdoors, spending countless hours fishing, hunting, and even crafting his own fishing lures. Whether casting a line or enjoying the quiet of nature, these moments brought him peace and happiness. He also enjoyed the excitement of playing the lottery, keno, and cards, always appreciating the thrill of the game.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his children, Mark Maben and his wife Judy, and Barbara Ganger and her husband Charles; his cherished grandchildren, Jessica Kirbow, Tiffany Maben, and Samantha Maben; and his adored great-grandchildren, Izabella Maben and Lylah Kirbow. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Maben.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Family and friends will gather to honor Arthur's life at a graveside funeral service at 11AM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Loudon Park Cemetery, Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.

Arthur's legacy of faith, love, and dedication to family will live on in all who knew and loved him.
