On July 29, 20917, 2017, Anne E. Porter, age 78, beloved daughter of the late William & Elizabeth Porter, devoted sister of William M. Porter, Jr. and the late Mary Carol Duvall, cherished aunt of Jeffery Duvall, William F. Porter, Michael B. Porter, Kathleen M. Taliano and beloved great aunt of eleven great nieces and nephews.Former member of the Holy Union of Sacred Heart, current member of the Benedictine Oblates. Graduated from Notre Dame College of Maryland and taught elementary school at Saint William of York, Saint Benedict and Saint Clement Elementary schools. Retired from Baltimore County School System after teaching many years at Baltimore Highlands Elementary.Anne was a Long-term member of the Archdiocesan Choir, accomplished cantor and organist for Saint Benedict parish and was a counselor for the Pregnancy Center West.Viewing will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 2612 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21223 from 10-11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Benedict Church, 2612 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21223.
