Anne Showalter (Nee Routzounis-Rose), age 97, passed away peacefully on November 9th, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Eugene Showalter, devoted mother to Thelma Terzigni and her husband Richard and Judith Richardson, dear sister of Gus Rose, loving grandmother of Kimberly Stice, Denize Terzigni, Brandy & Erick Larsen, and Tia Ayd, beloved great-grandmother to Destinee Stice, Katarina Stice, Angelina Stice, Abbee Stice, Caeden Cox, Camren Cox, Julia Larsen, and Lily Kowalski. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Anne is preceded in death by 6 siblings: Helen Vulgaris, Marie Memphis, Christine Gereny, Stella Braeden, Steve Rose, and Tommy Rose. Anne will always be remembered as the "life of the party" with the most lovable and upbeat demeanor. She was a socialite among friends and family, enjoyed drawing, and holiday festivities-Halloween was her absolute favorite. Anne rests at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC. 4107 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229 on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held also at the funeral home on Saturday 10am. Interment will immediately follow the service at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for your generous thoughts and prayers.
