Ann Bella Coster, 80, completed her journey to Heaven peacefully on October 25, 2012 with her family by her side at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. A visitation will be held from 2:00 � 4:00PM and 6:00 � 8:00PM on Friday November 2, 2012 at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD and on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 12 Noon � 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Angles Catholic Church, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD. A memorial service and Mass will be held on Saturday November 3, 2012 at 1:00PM at Our Lady of the Angles Catholic Church in Catonsville, MD. Interment will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery 82, Old Taney Town Rd, Westminster, MD. Ann was born August 8, 1932, in Pittsfield, MA to Herman and Mary Couture. Ann graduated from St. Joseph�s High School in 1951 and attended college at St. Luke�s School of Nursing. She married her sweetheart John (�Jack�) Coster on January 12, 1957 in Pittsfield, MA and settled in Westfield, MA for nearly 10 years. The family moved to Reisterstown, MD in 1968 and resided on Nicodemus Rd for 37 years until Ann and Jack settled into their current residence at the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD. She worked as a nurse for nearly 40 years and spent the majority of her career at Carroll County Hospital in Westminster, MD where she specialized in numerous advanced nursing services. She was very active in ST. John�s Catholic Church in Westminster, MD and worked on several religious education and charitable committees. Her interests included family, friends, birds, gardening, and traveling. She devoted much of her time and energy volunteering to help those less fortunate and was a pioneer in establishing Hospice services in Carroll County. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Herman, Mary, her Stepmother Ruth; and two brothers Albert and Armand Couture. Ann is survived by her beloved husband Jack; her daughter Mary; son John Jr., his wife Dawn and two grandchildren Jack and Sydney; son Mike, his wife Valeria, and granddaughter Luzia; one brother Robert Couture and his wife Linda of West Springfield MA; sister Elizabeth and her husband Gerald of Virginia Beach, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
