On Friday, October 19 2012, Andrew J. Robertson passed away peacefully at St. Agnes Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Scotland on April 19, 1926 to the late John and Clara Fairley Robertson and worked as a Cryptologist for the National Security Agency from where he retired. Andy was predeceased by his wife Gloria in 1999. He is survived by step-daughter Carolyn Wood and daughters Lisa (Jonathan) Schachter and Linda (Przemyslaw) Walczak as well as grandchildren Andrew, Colin, Ursula and Sofia. Also survived by brother John (Marlene) Robertson and predeceased by son Brian (Leslie) Robertson and sisters Mary (Thomas) Sidman and Claire (Robert) Auber. Andy rests at the family operated Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD where family will receive friends on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9am at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church at Charlestown. Interment will follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake or another charity of choice.
