Hardingham, Andree Suzanne

On January 31, 2010, Andree Suzanne (nee Le Bon) Hardingham, beloved wife of the late Walter F. Hardingham; devoted mother of Linda S. Trader, Gary W. Hardingham and Michelle D. Foreman and her husband Ronald; cherished grandmother of Amy L. Arndt, Michael P. Kassakatis and his wife Marici, Charles W. Trader, III, Sarah E. and Emily M. Hardingham and Ashley E. Foreman; admired great-grandmother of Caleb L. and Alexis L. Arndt, Jessica E. Ortiz and Jasmine M. Kassakatis; admired sister-in-law of Ethel and Elizabeth Hardingham, Ella Posey and Dorothy Bodensick; loving aunt of Christiane Delporte of Brussels, Belgium.

Having been born in France and raised in Brussels, Belgium she was a "Bicycle Lady" for the French Underground during WW II. She would take secret messages from Belgium into Germany and deliver them to the Allied troops. It was during one of these trips that she was captured and imprisoned. After the war she came to the United States, married Walter on March 29, 1947 and later became a Clinic Coordinator at Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins Hospitals also having worked at B. Green & Co. Mrs. Hardingham was also a youth counselor at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Violetville for 33 years.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
