On August 29, 2016, Ada Lillian (nee Tackett) Grimes, went to be with her Lord. She is the beloved wife of the late James William Grimes, Sr., loving mother of Cynthia Smith and her husband Edward, Kimberly Geise, step-mother of James Grimes, Jr. and his wife Sharon and Tammy Grimes, cherished grandmother of Vicky, Amy, Kenny, Heather, Rachel, Krystal, Ryan, Beth, Logan and Jessica, also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Karen Knisely, granddaughter Lindsay Smith and great-granddaughter Nicole Neville.

Mrs. Grimes rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Brooklyn Park, Maryland.
